So pleased to meet you!

As a mom of two in the thick of toddlerhood, I can't help but feel nostalgic for the Present.

My kids are 2 and 4, and although this stage can be exhausting and difficult...I also often find myself wondering if I will look back on this chapter of my life as my favorite of all. Ever since becoming a mom, time seems to move differently. My kids are growing so fast, learning, changing and evolving, and while it's beautiful to witness and I am so grateful to walk beside them on their paths to becoming fully-formed humans, I also find myself missing all of the past versions of them and wishing I could freeze them as they are. One day, they'll be grown and all of this will be a distant memory.

For the sentimental mothers who also long to preserve this stage...my goal is to provide an experience that will create treasured memories and artful images that will become cherished  heirlooms, not only for you but for your children as well.  I believe that family portraits are an investment that will only become more meaningful with time.

As an artist, I aim for my work to be joyful, authentic, and tender.

My goal as your photographer is to deliver frameworthy images of the things you want to remember the most.

Facts About Me

I JOURNAL DAILY

After the birth of my second child, I learned that mommy brain is very real. I'm so grateful I adopted a daily journaling habit because I doubt I would remember anything otherwise. My days as a stay-at-home mom pass in a blur so I love having a document to look back on.

I'M A SPECIAL NEEDS MOM

It's not something I choose to publicly talk about on the internet out of respect for my child's medical privacy but I'm an open book about our experiences if anyone asks.  But when I say that Motherhood can be tough and exhausting I really do mean it.  But, there's nothing I love more.

I'M A LONG-TIME TINKERER

I taught myself Photoshop when I was 13 so I could make skins for The Sims (the OG version) and built a website where I posted them online called SimChicks.

I'VE ALWAYS LOVED THE ART OF CREATING AN IMAGE

I experimented with lomography cameras when I was in college and got my first DSLR right after I graduated!. That was five cameras ago. I now shoot primarily with a Canon R6MkII.

I WAS ALWAYS DISCOURAGED FROM PURSUING ANYTHING CREATIVE

I always did well academically so my parents thought creative pursuits were a waste of time.  Now that I'm in my 30s I can see that I was always a square peg being told she was round. Giving myself permission to call myself a photographer and an artist feels amazing and liberating! I think I might be a flamingo who is getting her pink back.
