What should we wear?
I always recommend soft, muted colors that complement each other rather than everyone matching in the same color. I recommend staying away from dark, bold colors as they do not suit my style of editing. Upon booking, I will send you my style guide with suggestions and am always happy to answer any specific questions or provide feedback on wardrobe.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes!!! As long as the location allows it (my location guide states where dogs are not allowed), you can bring your four-legged family member(s) along. However, you know the temperament of your dog best. You might want to bring along a chaperone who can help wrangle the dog if necessary. Please do send me a note to let me know if you decide to bring your dog to the shoot.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 3 weeks of the session (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download directly from the gallery and also share them, choose your favorites, and order professional-quality prints as well as other products!
What if I need my photos sooner?
I offer rush-order editing for an extra fee of $250 in order to have your gallery within 72 hours.
How should we prepare for our session?
For young children, I recommend making sure they are well-rested and well-fed beforehand. Bringing snacks or treats as a motivator/pick-me-up is always a great idea as well (nothing messy!) Also, don't forget to empty your pockets of your phone, keys, wallet, and take off your apple watch unless you want to be wearing it in the pictures! If you wear blue light or glasses with transitions, I recommend not wearing them for the session.
What if it rains?
If rain is forecasted, we can decide together if we would like to reschedule! I love lots of light in my photos so I have no problem rescheduling and try to leave room on my calendar during rainy seasons for reschedules. However, rescheduling within a certain time frame can not be guaranteed.
What if I don't want pictures of my family/kids posted online?
I am happy to accommodate your privacy request, just let me know and we will omit the model release from your contract.
